Why Queenie Physio?
There’s an intimate connection between your mind and body. Your thoughts, emotions and stress manifest in different ways on your physical body. Some of you hold stress and anxiety in your neck and shoulders while others may experience stomach upset or appetite changes. Unaware of this connection, you may move or do things habitually that repeat the cycle and become the root cause to your physical symptoms.
My content is aimed to EMPOWER YOU with more knowledge about your mind-body connection and how you can move mindfully, tips to recognize warning signs that your body tells you long before a problem starts, as well as simple and practical ways to decrease stress, break bad habits and improve self-care. I will guide you to transform your health and habits with simple self-help strategies. Don’t stay stuck in habits that may lead to money and time spent on therapy or pain!
Let’s build a community together where can learn from and with each other to feel more grounded in our daily lives, strive to be present in the moment, be in-tune with our bodies and strive towards a better version of ourselves. In this community, we strive towards 5 RESULTS:

What is a Physiotherapist?
Physiotherapists are movement experts. If you have an injury, a surgery, persisting pain, or any illness that affects your daily movement and function, physiotherapists can help. Physiotherapists are regulated healthcare professionals who assess, diagnose and aim to treat the root cause of your symptoms in order to help you rehabilitate and prevent future injury.
What is your Education?
I completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after completing my undergraduate studies with honours and high distinction at the University of Toronto (in psychology & human biology).
After completing my Master’s degree, I completed training and certification in pelvic floor physiotherapy, acupuncture and clinical hypnosis with clients and groups (delivered as a coaching or counselling service). I also have over 7 years of personal experience with Mindfulness Meditation.
What is your Work Experience?
I have experience in orthopaedics (i.e. muscle strains, joint sprains, chronic or persistent pain, sports and work-related injuries, pre and post-surgical rehab), neurological conditions (i.e. stroke and brain injury) and pelvic health (i.e. bowel and bladder problems, painful intercourse, pregnancy and organ prolapse).
With a strong passion for teaching and education, I serve as a mentor, panelist speaker, laboratory facilitator and hold a Status-Only Appointment (lecturer ranking) with the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
As a side gig, I deliver Mind & Body Wellness Interactive Workshops at universities and small businesses to promote population health and productivity. If you’re interested in having me speak at your organization, please visit Contact to leave me a message.
